A San Francisco Bay Area native, Leslie Ann Rice Bock's roots run deep in the local community. Born and raised in Sunnyvale she completed her B.A. in Studio Art from Santa Clara University. After a brief hiatus which included developing and implementing arts curriculum, she returned to academia to pursue her own arts education. In 2014, Bock earned her M.F.A. in Ceramics from San Francisco State University, culminating in the thesis exhibit titled, "1350 Hours, Conservatively." Bock has been included in various exhibitions such as "Fired Up: Monumental Clay" at the Palo Alto Art Center, "KilnOpening.edu 2014” at the American Museum of Ceramic Art, and “MFA Now 2014” at Root Division, San Francisco, CA. Remaining dedicated to contributing to the art community, Bock lives and works in the Bay Area.
