This work is a recorded contemplation of landscape—connecting the observed landscape and the site-specificity of the exhibition space. The "1350 hours" in the title alludes to the act of observation that I engaged in to create this piece. The generative ceramic loops are a result of internalizing the surrounding terrain that I encounter everyday on my journey into the studio. Each of these small segments is a study of composition and form, together manifesting into the installation that finds its origin of abstraction in the San Francisco Bay Area.
